Survey of Neith§
In 1297 CP, Leftenant Dr. Sheffenmeijer surveyed Neith for a total of three centuries. He spent a majority of his time studying the plethora of Cheek species Neith and Venus had to offer. However, Dr. Sheffenmeijer's work also revealed much about the other inhabitants of Neith and Venus. (On Neithan Creatures)
Cheek research and the Taxonomy of Cheeks§
In 1207 CP, Dr. Sheffenmeijer began his ground breaking cheek research by using electrochemical probes to place a lower limit on the total number of individual cheeks in the atmosphere of Neith; he found that Neith contained at least 1023 individual cheeks. Dr. Sheffenmeijer would spend the next three centuries studiously developing a comprehensive classification of cheek subspecies. His groundbreaking work culminated in the magnus opus: Sheffenmeijer's Taxonomy of Cheeks. (See Cheeks.)

The scalar Sneek field§
In 1704 CP, Dr. Sheffenmeijer discovered the scalar Sneek field from measurements of cheek scintillations in a cold neutrally charged plasma. For the next 15 years, Dr. Sheffenmeijer worked tirelessly to derive the Lagrangian density of this field. (See Sneeks.)
