Saturn
The ringed sixth planet from the Sun; with its moon Titan, it is under Rumpish control.
Saturn is the sixth planet from the Sun and the second largest in the Solar System, a giant world of gas girdled by its famous rings. It has been known since antiquity as the most distant planet visible to the naked eye.
Saturn is a planet under Rumpish control. Its moon Titan is likewise held by the Rumps; there, during The Fall of Neith, General Torumund Borgin landed the damaged RF-9 for repairs.
Its astronomers
Several of the astronomers who watched Neith watched Saturn too. Christiaan Huygens discovered Titan in 1655 AD, ten years after Francesco Fontana first recorded Neith. Giovanni Domenico Cassini found four more of its moons between 1671 and 1684 AD, and in 1675 the dark gap in its rings that still bears his name. In 1789 AD, William Herschel discovered two more, Mimas and Enceladus.
