Also: The Way
Sacred order of the universe, colloquially “The Way”: four immersions, the Preamble, the Plunge, the Švitz, and the Sweep.
Ordo de Shvitzum — Sacred order of the universe. Colloquially referred to as “The Way”. First prescribed to Gumpthee Harleshemp, thought to be the founder of the Monks of Ordo de Shvitzum, by Bauthmansar himself.
The Monks of Ordo de Shvitzum are the sacred order which preserves “The Way”. The False Ones are those who have denied “The Way”.
The Way, step by step§
The Way is walked in four immersions, each in the keeping of one of The Shvitz Gods.
The Preamble. The rite opens with a first descent into hot and sacred waters. Its lord is Mandobar, God of preparation.
The Plunge. From the heat, the faithful pass into waters cold and perilous, the domain of Balbimona, Goddess of The Plunge.
The Švitz. Next comes immersion in fiery steam, over which Bauthmansar, Lord of The Švitz, presides.
The Sweep. Last, the faithful return to the hot and sacred waters where the rite began, under the patronage of Mauthsheemba.
